MeetMelisa gives couples a way to plan a wedding that holds together. We build an AI-native planning platform designed for the multi-cultural formats of Malaysian weddings, so that a process spread across dozens of vendors has a single place to live.
Wedding planning app for consumers — Malaysia's first AI-native wedding planning platform
The problem in the vertical
A wedding is one of the largest projects most people ever coordinate, and almost no one is equipped to run it. Couples plan across dozens of vendors — venues, caterers, photographers, attire, decor, and more — with no system of record and no prior experience to draw on. The information lives in browser tabs, chat threads, and a spreadsheet that goes stale the moment a decision changes. The process is stressful less because the choices are hard and more because nothing holds the whole picture together.
Malaysia makes the problem sharper. Weddings here follow Malay, Chinese, and Indian formats, each with its own ceremonies, sequences, and expectations, and many couples plan across more than one tradition in a single celebration. Generic planning tools are built around a Western template of a single ceremony and a single checklist. They do not model a Malay solemnisation, a Chinese tea ceremony, or an Indian multi-day sequence, so they break on exactly the structure that matters most to the people using them. A poor fit here is not a minor inconvenience; it is the tool failing at its central job.
The system
MeetMelisa is an AI-native planning platform, which means the intelligence is built into the planning journey rather than bolted onto a checklist. The system guides a couple through the decisions a wedding actually requires, keeps the choices and vendors in one place, and adapts to the ceremony format the couple is planning rather than assuming one. The plan becomes a living record the couple can trust instead of a scattering of notes they have to hold in their heads.
The platform is designed for the multi-cultural reality it serves. Malay, Chinese, and Indian ceremony formats are modelled as first-class structures, so the planning journey reflects the wedding a couple is having rather than a template that does not fit it. MeetMelisa is Malaysia’s first AI-native wedding planning platform, in development and Malaysia first, with expansion across South-East Asia planned for 2027. It shares one content backbone with MELISAGUIDE, the public knowledge platform: a guide is written once and serves both, so a couple learns with MelisaGuide and plans with MeetMelisa.
MeetMelisa is built and operated within Alnaire's vertical AI foundry, and shares the applied AI systems Alnaire builds across the wedding domain.
